Hi Leyri, I'm not sure exactly what you are speaking of, but from what I gather, it sounds like you had what is called a "Supracervical Hysterectomy", in which the neck of the uterus is left in. With this type of procedure, you can still have monthly menses. The surgeon I work for never performs supracervical hysterectomy because of this problem. If I were you, I would have the neck of the uterus removed, which is called a TRACHELECTOMY. Ask your surgeon about getting this done. That would take care of your problem.
