Fibroids and the Pill

Hello!
I have been diagnosed with small fibroids.
I have been given the BC pill to treat the bleeding. Only a few months ago (Sept) did I start spotting between periods. All I needed was a liner. By November, it was a little worse. This is when I had the sonogram and transvag tests done. Since mid November, I have taken a low dose pill. If anything, it has gotten a little worse. My doc says to give it about 2 months to kick in.

I am wondering if anyone else has tried this treatment of symptoms. If so, how long did it take for the hormones to to stop the bleeding?
