Hi - I just had this done on Wednesday along with Essure (essure.com, permanent birth control.) In terms of recovery, it's been a BREEZE! I was under general anesthesia, so that was probably the hardest part, just coming out of that fog. I've had very mild cramping, wayyyy less than an average period, and I think that's more due to the essure. I've had almost no discharge, only about 2 drops of blood. It's been surprisingly easy, thankfully.
Are you going to be under general? The stuff I've read has basically said that women who didn't get general wish they had - for both essure and/or ablation. My doctor didn't even give me a choice, but
I'd have chosen it anyway! I'm lbkimballATgmail.com (change the AT for @) if you want to ask
any further questions.
