Bleeding for 6 wks - HELP!

Hello All:
I'm hoping to get some advise.
I began having menstrual migraines back in Feb. 2008. I went in to see my doctor who told me to start taking my birth control pills (Zovia) for 3 months straight and then at the end of the 3rd month have a period. I did this and my period started fine but I began to pass large clots and bleeding heavily. I called to doc. and tried to get in they didn't seem to care, so I went to see a new doctor (who I really like). The new doctor put me on Seasonique, and the first 2 periods were fine.
I was supposed to start my next period on about 2-9-09, well, it started on 2-2-09 and hasn't stoped!!! Same as before heavy bleeding and clotting. On 3-9-09 I had a D&C, I went to the doctor today and she said that there is no sign of cancer nothing abnormal that medically I seem to be fine. I just have a disfunctional uterus!!! I'm still bleeding fairly heavy no clots, I have never had any pain, slight cramping from time to time nothing major. At this point she wants me to double up on my Seasonique for 2 days to see if that will stop the bleeding. She wants me to give it a month to see if the D&C worked. At this point she says the only other solutions are IUD, Endometrial Ablation, Hysterectomy.

I just want to get some feedback from women who are going through the samething, any opinions that you have are welcome.
