  • Adenomyosis

    Symptoms
Women suffering from adenomyosis may experience severe dysmenorrhea (cramping or pain at the time of menstrual periods), heavy bleeding and passing of clotted blood, and abnormal bleeding between periods. If the bleeding is heavy enough, patients may suffer anemia or other complications. The uterus may also swell to the point of making the abdomen feel bloated and tender.
