    Complications
    Though adenomyosis does not always require treatment, other conditions that have similar symptoms might. Abnormal bleeding and pain at the time of menstruation can interfere with day-to-day life, and may also be signs of a number of other disorders, some of which may be very dangerous. Thus, it is important to consult a doctor or health care provider about any such abnormal symptoms when they arise.
