bleeding beyond belief
For over a year now I have been having period problems. In about an hour to two hours, it depends, I bleed through a tampon, pad, panties and pants. I am talking all of them at the same time. I can not go anywhere or do anything. I don't know how long these last cause I have had to get the progesterone pills to stop them, but it did not work this last time. The first time, I was on my period for over 3 months. They finally gave me the progesterone because my blood level was dangerously close to needing a transfusion. The pills worked then. I called the doctor at the first sign of the same problem, and they were not conscerned. I finally bugged them enough to get an appointment. I was not checked out this time, but was told that I am simply not obulating. I still don't know what I think about that. I have had an MRI, blood tests for this and that, hormone tests, women's hormone tests, thyroid, EVERYTHING. Nothing has shown wrong or off. I have been told that I am completely healthy in all of these, except for cholesterol. I am overweight, but I don't think that could be the problem. The pills did not work at all, and the doctors have no advise for me but to start birth control. I need help, I don't want to bleed forever. I miss having sex with my husband too. I have tried a few times, but it gets much worse after sex. If anyone can help, please do so. I need to get back to my life.
